I have two ideas that want you to implement:

1. Create .gitignore file by using a GUI like this one:
   https://github.com/junichi11/netbeans-gitignore-io-plugin

2. Auto-completion in .gitignore file.
   It would be nice to suggest relative path in .gitignore file.
